BLOG OBSESSION - NAIL PORN

I need to share a couple of new blogs with you that I'm loving at the moment. One of my newest blog obsessions is Nail Porn. I can't get enough of the daily updates of delicious nail art and crazy colour combinations.

Whilst attending the Desigual Oxford Street opening party last month I had the pleasure of having my nails done by the Nail Porn nail team headed by the creative nail genius Sophy Robson.

The Sophy Robson nail team painted hieroglyphics on every fingernail at Topshop Unique S/S 2012 and dotted the eyes of over 100 Giles 'EEK' eyes at Giles S/S 2011.

The blog is a visual feast of hundreds of different nail designs - I love trying out some of the easier nail art designs featured on the blog. Sophy Robson nails are available at Hari's Salon, 223 Kings Road, Chelsea.

TOPSHOP SMOKE AND MIRRORS

Topshop's fall make-up range has once again landed in stores this week. Inspired by the high glamour of the 1970s, think velvety chocolate tones and luxe metallic shine. Complete with sleek retro packaging in gold geometric designs this collection won't stay in stores for long!

 

In addition to lipsticks, metallic nail varnishes, khol and mascara, the range also includes a new eye shadow palette in 4 sophisticated colours - perfect for creating a smoky 70s eye.

My favourite product from the collection is the pot of 'Glow', a highlighting cream that can be used on cheekbones, brow bones or anywhere else you fancy a glow!

Make-up artist Hannah Murray demonstrates the new 'Perfectly Polished' and 'Grunge Glamour' looks for A/W 2011 on Anais Pouliot and Charlotte Free.

CHANEL GO BLUE

Hot on the heels of Chanel 'Les Khakis' nail varnishes of last September are the 'Les Jeans de Chanel' collection, arriving just in time for Fashion's Night Out.

The trio include Blue Rebel a deep denim blue, Coco Blue a pretty sky blue colour and Blue Boy a classic denim blue shade. Want Want WANT!!

Inspiration on Monday

I've had a hectic few days so sorry for the lack of posts. Been shooting all over London plus a lovely shoot for VICE yesterday which I'm very excited about. Will post some behind the scenes pics very soon.

It finally felt like summer was on the way today and it looks like sun is here for the rest of the week!
I came across these delightful shoes on tumblr somewhere and haven't been able to stop thinking about them since. If I ever come across these on my travels I will die happy. Please let them be mine sometime soon.

I'm going to have a go at nail marbling soon too, perfect for summer fingernails.

I think I'm officially done with summer - over it. I'm going to pack away my summer clothes tonight and make some room for some new bits and pieces, maybe have an ebay session.
