Ice cream shades and bold bright colours will be a staple in my make-up bag and kit this summer. One of my favourite make-up campaigns so far this year is the MAC 'Quite Cute' range featuring mouth-watering shades of pretty candy floss colours.
MAC 'Quite Cute' Collection
Try lipstick in 'Candy Yum-Yum', a bright pink that will finish off this season's colour-block trend perfectly but will also complement a glowing golden tan. Nails get a cheeky frosting of cupcake inspired shades - 'Mischievous Mint' and 'Ice cream Cake' are on my list! YSL 'Boheme Libertine' Spring 2011
Another Summer collection I love right now is YSL's 'Boheme Libertine'. Juicy- fruit colours and cool pastels. The eyeshadow palette is a must for any summer make-up bag but I've found that I can't live without the creme blush. There are 5 shades, from a light peach to bright fushia.
I've been using 'Fushia Temptation' (above left) for the last few weeks, a hot pink colour that really makes your cheeks pop. Dab onto the apples of your cheeks with fingertips and blend up and out towards your hairline.
Illamasqua 'Toxic Nature'
The mixture of pastels, neon and nudes in Illamasqua's new collection is pretty special.
The matt cream pigments are multi-purpose and a definite must- have. Use as eye shadow, blush, lipstick and for contouring.
I also treated myself to nail varnish in 'Gamma' an acid orange perfect for the pool.
this post just made me broke.
