TWO THOUSAND AND TWELVE

Oh hi there 2012!

Arizona Muse by Patrick Demarchelier, Vogue February 2012

Can't wait to get my hands on this copy of Vogue when I return to London next week. Love, love love the vintage feel to the cover shot by Patrick Demarchelier. With deliciously fruity Pat Butcher style earrings and colour-pop make-up complete with a huge smile, I can't think of a better cover to start off 2012.

Florence Welch British Vogue

What do you think of Vogue January 2012 featuring Florence of Florence & the Machine? I think the colours work really well with her gorgeous hair but the image itself is not particularly flattering. I think her first cover could have been a masterpiece but I think it's a little blah. Thoughts?

Possibly one of my favourite editorials of the year.

Stunning make-up/styling/photography. All good. I love this shoot, Private Dancer by Javier Vallhonrat for British Vogue, April 2010.

Alice in Wonderland is here this week! So in spirit of all things nonsense here is Natalia Vodianova for US Vogue December 2003 wearing a magical collection of dresses with her friends she makes along the way. I love John Galliano as the Queen of Hearts and Viktor & Rolf as Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum.

Curiouser and curiouser!

I love that Paris seems to be embracing Alice in Wonderland completely - from fashion to food. Printemps Paris has commissioned designers including Chloe, Charles Anastase, Nicholas Kirkwood, Maison Martin Margiela to create their own Alice dress.

My favourites by Charles Anastase, Maison Martin Margiela and of course the Kirkwood heels, look at the tiny teacups and the silver pocket watch famously carried by the white rabbit!

Have your own Mad Hatter's tea party with some scrumptious Alice in Wonderland macaroons from Laduree.

Delightful!
